AUR 24-R   TOUCHLESS ACTIVATION SENSORS - BUTTONS

Touchless, wall box mounted, activation sensors - buttons (momentary switches) are the most sophisticated way to control home automation systems, power relays, doors, etc. These Touchless Activation sensors can be addressed as "Touchless Buttons" as they are designed to replace classical mechanical push-buttons or push-plates that fit into a standard US wall box.

Touchless activation can have many advantages over mechanical pushbuttons:

  • Health: germs are harbored and spread by common touch surfaces.
  • Cleanliness: touchless activation means no dirt deposits on the switch.
  • Design: the button design allows for many different switchplates to be used, made from glass, stone, wood... even with custom graphics or glyphs.

Please note, these units are not designed to control any load directly, they provide low voltage output signal that can be used to control various devices. They come with a variety of outputs, including dry contact relay output (binary output) and 0-10V analog output. Use them with a power relay or power pack to control AC loads or with a binary input converter as an input device for any home automation system.

The touchless button is designed to fit into a single US wall box, versions for multi-gang wall boxes are also available. Any of our decorative switchplates from our selection fits onto the Touchless button. The switchplates are easily exchanged to fit perfectly into any interior and are fixed to the base unit with strong magnets.
